Youth Work Weeks


Interact Youth Leaders work closely with Project Amigo Staff to organize and plan a week of service opprtunities.


Sample Activities:

  • Interaction with Project Amigo students

  • Teach preventive dental health

  • Distribute books

  • A day at the beach with Project Amigo grade school children


Additional Information

  • Interact youth are Project Amigo ambassadors who sell Project Amigo child sponsorships to cover the cost of the Work Week.

  • Interact groups must have one chaperone for every six students.

  • Separate male and female housing facilities are provided

  • Fun is half the point! (Life-changing service is the other half.)


All-inclusive price

The requested donation of $1,200 per person includes double-occupancy accommodations, all meals, airport pick-up and return, local transportation, entertainment and cultural activities, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. The donation does not include transportation between the U.S. and Guadalajara or Manzanillo or long-distance phone calls.
